One of my new favorite artists is Yayoi Kusama. Last semester I was able to take Women in Art with professor Lucy Gans, and throughout the semester I learned about a lot of new artists, Yayoi being one of them. I really enjoyed getting to learn out her due to the fact that she doesn’t stay confined to a canvas and that she truly immerses her audience into her art. A lot of the time her exhibits require you to walk through them making them truly a 360 degree experience.
