Immediately, one of my favorite artists, Banksy, is definitely someone that inspires me. I wouldn’t say that his graffiti style is what inspires me and my personal artwork per say, I find that his creativity in his subject matter and his presentation is what I find most compelling about him. For example, the stunt from a few years ago now, where at the auction, the frame shredded the painting he had made as it was sold, I found that so incredibly fascinating and I just love when a stir within the art world escapes into the news media. Another example of something he did that I find really inspiring is his most recent works that involve some imagery relating to the pandemic. I think Banksy is such a talented artist and I love the attention his work gets!
