My artist inspiration is Sarah Bahbah. The moment I saw her work I was instantly connected to it. The ability she has to capture real moments regarding her thoughts through the dialogue of her subjects is truly fascinating. Through her work she conquers breaking down the barriers that women face daily with showing their true emotions. Her work highlights the importance self-love while showcasing desires for intimacy, but also the opposite. I absolutely love how she dives deeper into the mind and creates art through feelings that are felt so frequently but often in society can be frowned upon.
