Final Painting

My en Plein Air Landscape of the Steel Stacks from the bridge Sand Island Trail location. Setting up the same location in the heat with people walking by constantly was not ideal, but it was a fun experience.

Final Project – Landscape

For my final project, I chose a photo of me and my mom and dad’s shadows in Utah this past summer. My mentor artist is Deborah Brown (some of her work is shown at the bottom). I am taking inspiration from her use of shadows, long brush strokes and her bright color palette.

Final Soap Bottle Painting

I might touch up a few areas, but I liked the colors and vibrancy. I think I should maybe make some of the edges a little cleaner and more defined but I’m not too sure.
